2024 Summer Camp

323 Youth's flag football camp is a specialized program designed to teach and enhance the skills and knowledge of our athletes. It provides a structured and supportive environment for players of various ages and skill levels to learn, practice, and enjoy the game.

OVERVIEW

Camp Co-Ed Divisions: 8u, 10u, & 12u (Age as of Jan 1st, 2024)

Camp Location: Freedom Park (8456 Tarver Dr, Temple, TX 76502)

Camp Dates:

Monday June 24th - 6:00-7:30PM

Wednesday June 26th - 6:00-7:30PM

Friday June 28th - 6:00-9:00PM

What to expect:

Skill Development: The camp focuses on teaching fundamental flag football skills. This includes passing, receiving, running, flag-pulling techniques, and defensive strategies. Experienced coaches and players lead skill development sessions through various drills and exercises.
Fitness and Conditioning: Flag football requires agility, speed, and endurance. The camp will incorporate fitness and conditioning activities to enhance athletes' physical capabilities. These may include warm-up exercises, agility drills, and cardiovascular workouts.
Strategy and Game Understanding: As athletes progress through the camp, they learn more advanced tactics and strategies specific to flag football.
Teamwork and Sportsmanship: The camp will emphasize the importance of teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Athletes learn to collaborate with their teammates and support each other.
Tournament Games: To put their skills to the test, athletes engage in a mini-tournament at the end of camp. These games provide opportunities for players to apply what they have learned in a competitive and supportive environment. Coaches provide feedback and guidance to help players improve their performance.
Fun and Recreation: Alongside the training, camp will aim to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for the athletes.
